At The New Me you will learn how to and prepare your own fresh, healthy, meals.
We do not believe in going on a diet (which only works while you’re on it) as much as we believe in changing your diet (which is an overhaul to allow you to eat (a new) normal every day.
The diet style that we follow here at ‘The New Me’ has been compiled by Adro and is based on the following principles Low Carb, Low Fat, Low Calorie and High Protein.
Not one meal while at ‘The New Me’ is prepared for you; we do this to empower ever guest with the knowledge and practice necessary to continue implementing their healthy food awareness and skills to continue to eat and live a better healthier life.
We are often heard referring to what we teach in the kitchen as lateral thinking. Not so much teaching you new skills in the kitchen as much as it is teaching you to think a little differently when applying skills you may or may not already know.
Some of the meals that you will learn to prepare will probably come as a surprise to you as we take great pride in having a huge variety and teach what we call ‘lateral thinking’ in the kitchen; this ensures the kitchen stays fun and interesting and the meals stay achievable and delicious for the whole family.
Weight Loss
We believe in educating you on the best ways to eat for rapid weight loss; make a variety of those foods available and allow you the freedom of choice of foods within your diet rather than putting you on a diet. With a nutritionist on staff you will not only be able to learn how to implement and practice these changes but of course learn as much as you possibly can about nutrition, substitution, how food effects and fuels the body etc. We will teach you to not only understand and look at food in a different way, but also prepare and eat the same meals that helped Adro not only become The Biggest Loser in 2006 but also keep his weight off in the years since.
Our goal is to change your current relationship with food to one that works; and like any good relationship needs respect and understanding to work.
